State Symbols of Iowa -- Iowa Wildlife and People Series

Iowa is a state with many unique, impressive, and important natural features. Our state government has recognized the importance of these natural features by designating some as official “state symbols.” Four of these symbols, the state flower, bird, tree, and rock, are discussed in this publication created by the Iowa Association of Naturalists.
