If the 1952 corn crop turns out ok there's a very good chance that Iowa farmers will enjoy profitable feeding margins next fall. That's what happened after the short corn crops of 1925, 1934, 1936, and 1947. It paid to have livestock on hand the next fall after those short crop years.
